We run the software. You run the clinic. Patient records stay yours — we do not sell them, and we do not use them to advertise or cross-sell.
Our commitment
Smart Clinic is clinic operations software — EMR, billing, lab, pharmacy, and reports. Under India's DPDP Act, your clinic is the data fiduciary; Vega Tech Labs processes records on your behalf. There is no marketplace, no patient-data product, and no intent to monetise your panel.
You own the records
Patient charts, bills, and clinic files belong to your practice. We process them so you can consult, bill, and report — we do not own your patients.
No sale. No ads. No cross-sell.
We do not sell patient lists. We do not use your EMR to advertise. We do not share clinic data with pharma, insurers, or aggregators for their marketing.
You decide who can access
Owners control staff roles. Vega support opens a clinic only when you ask for help. That session is marked in the product and logged on our side.
AI scribe is optional
Voice dictation is sent to our speech provider only when a doctor presses dictate. It is not used to train Smart Clinic. Typing notes never leaves your clinic workflow for AI.
Straight answers
- Do you sell our data?
- No. Smart Clinic exists to run clinic operations. We have no product, partnership, or revenue model that depends on selling or brokering patient or clinic data.
- Why do you hold our records at all?
- Because the software has to store what you enter — registration, EMR, lab, pharmacy, and billing — so your team can work the next visit. That is processing on your behalf, not a licence to use the data for anything else.
- Can Smart Clinic staff read our EMR?
- Not as a routine. Support access is exceptional, used to fix an issue you raised, shown with an on-screen banner while it is active, and recorded in our audit log. We do not browse clinics to learn from or monetise records.
- What if we stop using Smart Clinic?
- Your right to the records you entered does not transfer to us. For the legal notice and retention periods, see Privacy. For a copy of your data when you leave, contact us — we will work with the clinic owner.
